Canoes

To place an order, please contact me to discuss your exact requirements, including:

• Model
• Length
• Number of Seats
• Symmetrical or asymmetrical hull (for solo canoes only)
• Approximate weight of regular paddlers (to determine seat placement for best trim)
• Seat preferences (furnishing, fixed/tilting/sliding)

Please allow 3 months from the start of construction to completion. I will keep you informed of the progress. A deposit of $750 (not refundable once construction has started) is required to secure the order, guaranteeing the next place in the build schedule and allowing construction to begin. The balance of payment is due upon collection or just ahead of delivery. Personal collection is recommended where possible; I would love you to try out your new canoe on my local water before departing with it. Delivery may be possible for a fee, dependent upon distance. Crating and shipping freight is possible, is expensive, and will be priced on a case-by-case basis.

Paddles

To place an order, please contact me to request a questionnaire. This will allow you to provide me with certain measurements, as well as details of your paddling style, all of which will allow me to tailor the paddle to your requirements. Apart from the questionnaire, the other decision is to select the type of wood: cherry or ash. Ash is marginally heavier and stronger, but both are proven to perform well. Cherry, of course, will match the trim on the canoe that you may also order.
